Josh McCarty is an accomplished communications strategist with over two decades of diverse experience spanning multiple cities and organizations. His expertise has been honed through engagements with foundations, advocacy groups, and school communities from New Orleans to Los Angeles, Texas to Milwaukee, and Idaho. Josh firmly believes that understanding the unique nuances of each city and organization is crucial for crafting effective communication strategies.
Beginning his career in political campaigns after college, Josh soon discovered his true calling in the education sector, where he has spent the majority of his professional life. He has successfully developed and executed communication strategies for a wide range of educational institutions, including charter networks, districts, and advocacy organizations.
Josh’s deep-rooted passion for education inspired him to establish The Good Points, a platform through which he can leverage his skills, abilities, and extensive experience to make a meaningful impact in the education community.
Josh is a certified Ethical Influence Practitioner from the Cialdini Institute, further enhancing his ability to create persuasive and ethical communication strategies.
